002. Wish List ❤

I thought I'd start a tradition of posting my current wish list on every Saturday/Sunday. Some of these things are inexpensive and others are big ticket items that will take me awhile to acquire.

H&M released pictures of their Garden Collection this past week. I love flower patterns and this collection is FULL of them. Unfortunately though, H&M has yet to join us in the 21st century and doesn't currently have an online store, nor is there a brick and mortar store located near me. I'll have to find a way to get to one of the stores (excuse for a mini-vacation?).

I'm a sucker for cute tote bags.
These flats are a must!
How cute is the dress on the right?
I LOVE white dresses.
Love the bold patterns on this one.

The only problem is, I'll have to find places to wear all these adorable dresses.
This top is awesome.
Other items:

Hey, I said I like flower patterns right? This beauty is from the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse collection and it's a whopping $1,360. Worth it? I think so.
Tiffany jewelry is classic and these earrings are too cute.

This gorgeous, 18k white gold pendant with round diamonds is so me. I have a thing for key necklaces.
What girl doesn't want a hot pair of Christian Louboutin pumps? I know I do.

I am currently obsessed with all things that have a bow on them right now. This Juicy Couture ring is lovely and only $42.

Speaking of bows, this pink bow tunic from Delia's is only $26.50!

In addition to clothes and beauty products, I'm also an electronics junkie and my second favorite pastime, after shopping, is reading so I am lusting over an E-reader. I've compared brands and I decided the Barnes & Noble Nook is the best option for me. The downside? It's on backorder until February.

MAC introduced its newest collection this week, entitled MAC in Lillyland featuring the lovely color combinations of Lilly Pulitzer. I am a huge Lilly fan so I want a few things from this collection: the Pearlmatte Face Powder, Pearlmatte Eye Shadow, the Coconut Ice nail lacquer, and Lipgelee in Shift to Pink. They also released their All Ages, All Races, All Sexes collection, which features shades that are intended to match all skintones. There are four gorgeous eyeshadows, two new pigments, and neutral lipglasses and lipsticks. I think I'll stick with the shadows and the pigments; I prefer pinkish lip products. I haven't ordered from MAC in awhile, so I missed the Warm & Cozy collection and I want the four neutral shadows that it featured. I also missed the Holiday sets, which included a "Well Prepared" set that has some skin products that I frequently use. Finally, I am low on my Engraved Powerpoint Eye Kohl, which is my absolute favorite eyeliner. This order will probably total around $300. Yikes! However, this time last year MAC held a Friends & Family sale, in which they gave 20% off your entire order. I think I'll wait awhile to see if they run the sale again. It would be just my luck to put in the order right before they announce the sale.

Don't worry, I don't plan on getting all this in one fell swoop. It'll take a lot of patience and saving, or at least a lot of begging.
With Love ❤,
Lauren

001. Introduction ❤

Those that know me know that I am in a constant state of desire. I am always lusting over a great new bag, that new makeup product, or a new top, and I have to admit that I am quite adept at acquiring these things. I've always, always had a way of getting what I want. I am a master at convincing anyone and everyone to do what I want, when I want, if I truly want them to. So naturally, I am most skilled at convincing myself. I will find a way to acquire whatever I'm coveting at the time, even if I have to save for months, borrow, or beg endlessly. Hence the name, Miss Acquisitive. I plan to use to this blog to post things I'm currently lusting over, things I buy, and reviews of these things. I am an extreme girly girl so my posts will revolve around makeup, beauty products, fashion, decor, etc.

To give you a bit of a background on me; I'm a 20 year old student at Texas A&M University. I am working on a BBA in Management, as well as a Certificate in International Business. I hope to open my own business one day, but have yet to work out the details. I was born and raised in central Texas, where I plan to remain for awhile. I have been dating the future (hopefully) Mr. Acquisitive for about four years now and he knows of my shopping addiction first hand. I have a yorkie named Summer, who has her own wardrobe and is, quite possibly, the most spoiled dog you'll ever meet. Other than that, I am a typical girl, who loves to shop!

With Love ❤,
Lauren
